It's beginning to look alot like Christmas!

Well at least the decor is up, with this Texas weather, it certainly doesn't feel like December.

I always try to put up the Christmas decor the weekend after Thanksgiving.  After all, it takes so much to put it all out, why not enjoy it for the entire month, right.  This year, I went black friday shopping with Rachel and Christine (we just went to the mall), and by the time I woke up that morning, Brian had the majority of it already pulled out.  This little elf was sooooo excited, she would not rest until her Daddy had that tree up!

So excited to be decorating!

Last Sunday, we drove to Bass Pro Shops for a visit with Santa.  We always see Santa at the mall, so I thought this would be a nice change.  Plus it made both Avery and Brian sooooo happy :)

It was so bright in the store, so the pics didn't turn out so well....

On Saturday, I took Avery for a Mommy-Daughter day.  She has been asking to go ice skating since last Christmas!  She LOVED it!  I was pretty impressed at how quickly she picked it up.  To bad the temperature was in the 80's, lol.  The skating rink was kinda like a sauna with all the melting ice, but Avery really didn't know any different :)

One of the best things about the Christmas season is getting to spend time with family.  So, we had Rachel and Kara over with the kiddos for a little Christmas crafting.

She was so proud of the finished product.
