Last Friday, we loaded up and headed to see the greatest show on earth! I had NEVER been to the circus, so was very excited to experience it with my daughter. My friends, Jennifer and Christie, and their two boys, Tucker and Tanner went with us. I really wasn't sure if Avery would be able to actually sit through the entire show, but she really surprised me at how well she did. Our seats turned out to be really great too!

"An anniversary is a time to celebrate the joys of today, the memories of yesterday, and the hopes of tomorrow."
On Sunday, we celebrated Meme and Pawpaw's 29th wedding anniversary. Wow! Congratulations you two! We all headed over to Bebe's house for some delicious home cooking. As usual, we ended up with WAY to much food, but it was all so good! Great job boys!
Pawpaw with all of his girls. Why is mine the only one not looking at the camera? Check out all of that curly hair....
The girls on Meme and Pawpaw's new golf cart.
What is Avery eating???? Hmmmm....bet you wouldn't have guessed Boudin. Yep, that's right, she loved the stuff. I think she had about 4 pieces. She definitely takes after her Mommy.
This past Wednesday, (07/08/09), my cousin's sweet baby girl, Kaitlyn, was born. She is perfectly healthy, and weighed in at 8lbs 2oz, and is 21.5 in long. Ryan, Chelsea, and Kaitlyn are home now and are adjusting to life with a newborn.
Even though Ryan isn't technically my brother, he was the closest thing I ever had to one. He is going to make a great father! I know it won't be long until Avery and Kaitlyn are running around, getting into trouble together.

I took these pics during snack time. I have never really given her peanut butter before, but recently, she wants to eat EXACTLY what I am eating. So, for snack time she had apple slices, peanut butter, and bluberries. She especially loved dipping the apples in the peanut butter. She has really been on a blueberry kick, she loves them. Earlier in the week, while she was eating dinner, I was eating carrots and spicy hummus. Of course, she threw a fit, because she wanted to eat mine....trust me, her raviolis were much better. I thought I would just give her a taste, and then she would eat her dinner, but wrong, she loved the hummus!
She has been saying so much this past week, she is really starting to repeat everything she hears. Her new favorite words are No (surprise, surprise), Reba (which actually comes out Revvva), Deer, Dog, Momma, Eat, and Nite Nite. I wonder what will be next???

On friday, we took a family trip down to the aquarium. I had never been, but had heard Avery would enjoy it. She absoluely loved it! We got there when it opened so there wasn't too much of a crowd. We tried to do all of the outside stuff first, before the heat cooked us too bad. I was really impressed, it was really nice, and Brian even enjoyed it.
Daddy is showing Avery a big bass
Hello, Mr. Bass, you would look great hanging on my Daddy's wall...
Trying to get a pic, but of course, Avery just wants to check out the tiger...
