Happy Birthday Avery!

Miss Avery Elizabeth is 2!!! Ok, so brace yourself, this is gonna be a long post, I realized this after it took me forever to load all of the pics, but oh well, it's my baby's birthday! This year, we celebrated her birthday at the Little Gym, then headed home to celebrate with family. It was perfect! Thank you for everyone that helped to make Avery's Bday so special. More than once yesterday, I looked around and thought what a great group of friends and family we have.
I made cupcakes with homemade buttercream icing...yummy!

The decor...

I ordered this banner from http://www.etsy.com/ (i am obsessed)

Everyone sat in a circle and told Avery "Happy Birthday!"

Avery is almost 2!

Check out this outfit she sported at Nana's house....nice plastic heels

Watching The Little Mermaid with Grandpa

Valentine's cookies

Boots with pj's, she is very fashion-forward

I can't believe my baby is almost 2! Time really does fly by. She has such a personality and keeps us laughing ALL the time! She is in LOVE with her Daddy, and has been telling me, "Avery love Dadda." When I say I love him too, she gets mad, and says, "No, Avery's Dadda!" I then ask her if she loves Momma too, and her usual answer is No. Thanks Avery! Oh well... I am excited about her Birthday party, and will post some Birthday pics asap. (Her Bday outfit is a little out of control....he he)

Sweet Valentine

This past Valentines Day, we spent a very relaxing day at the house. On Saturday night, Brian and I celebrated the holiday with a great group of friends, but that is another post....
Anyways, it was so nice to just go to church, and spend the day together. I even let Avery make some cupcakes, which she loved :)

adding the oil

Time to make the frosting!

I think she was sctually saying "cheese" here

She had to get in a lil fishing practice in the pool while the cupcakes baked

pulling out some backlash....

And the best part, eating them!....and yes, that is a sucker sitting next to her, but what the heck, it's Valentine's Day!

Sesame Street Live!

Today, Brooke and I took the Avery and Colter to Sesame Street Live at the Reliant Arena. I don't know who was more excited to begin with, the silly Momma, or the kids! I remember going to see Sesame Street Live as a kid, so was pretty excited about taking Avery. I am so glad they LOOOVED it! To see their faces as Elmo and his friends came from the curtain was absolutely priceless.

So excited to see Elmo!

....wait before we go, let me send a little text to Colter to tell him we're on our way!

Brooke and sweet Colter

She DANCED the entire show, I had tears from laughing so hard!

Ok, I know this video is really dark, but if you look closely you can see Avery bustin' a move. It is so funny. Thank you Brooke and Colter for coming with us!
